November 25, 2007 - 4:53pm — n1icsA new Telpac gatway for Winlink has been brought up in NW Ohio for both general and EmComm use.
It is on the UHF band at 445.700 with a call sign of N1ICS-11. It's brother is a VHF gatway at 145.690 with a call sign of N1ICS-10.
Both of these feed into the N1ICS PMBO which gateways into the gloabal Winlink 2000 network.

OHIO'S OSSBN CHANGES FREQ AND TIME BEGINNING NOV. 13
November 13, 2007 - 2:14pm — n1icsFor the second time in two weeks, 75 meter propagation problems have
caused the Ohio Single Side Band Net (OSSBN) to change its evening
start and this time also change frequency.
Beginning Tuesday, November 13, the third and evening daily session of
the OSSBN will be at 6 p.m. Eastern Time and on the OSSBN alternate
frequency of 3.968 MHz.
Time changes last week resulted in possible interference with
Connecticut traffic nets.

Allen County (OH) only APRS feed added to aprs.n1ics.net
November 12, 2007 - 4:18pm — n1icsA feed which does server-side filtering to limit APRS stations to the approximate boundaries of Allen County (OH) has been added to aprs.n1ics.net. It can be found on port 14582.
As demand warrants, other counties may be added.
Van Wert County only APRS feed added to aprs.n1ics.net
